Are You a Black Friday or a Cyber Monday? {with Printables!}

Black Friday Cyber Monday Printables

As our Thanksgiving festivities wrap up, many of us turn our attention to our Christmas shopping lists and the pretty darned amazing sales over the course of Black Friday, Small Business Saturday, and Cyber Monday.

If you’re anything like me, it can be really hard to keep all the deals straight and remember which store you were going to go to for what, and when each one opens.  Back before kids…or before there were five of them anyway…my husband and I would tackle Black Friday as a team.  That was also before stores started opening on Thanksgiving night, so there was a lot less to keep track of.  We’d just start with the most important items and then hit whatever other stores were nearby until we had everything we were after or were just too tired to keep going.

A couple years later and there are 3x as many sales and more than twice as many kids and our tactics had to change.  So now we tag team the sales with one of us out and about and the other warm and comfy at home with the kids.  I make sure I have all of the ads pulled up in my internet browser so that I can quickly reference them if my husband calls and has a question about comparing what they have to the ad, or if he sees something and wants to know if it’s a better price somewhere else.  (You can also use the various store apps on your phone to check if you’re flying solo!)

This year I stepped up my game a bit and made these two handy printables so I could see our plan all in one place.  This was a huge help with all of the amazing online deals coming for Cyber Monday.  Office Depot has their lowest prices ever and are taking up a good chunk of space on my sheet this year!  It’s one of my favorite places to feed my tech and office supply addiction! You can check out their deal center here!

And if you need a bit of comic relief while you’re out waiting in one of those long store lines (or watching another boring football game), check out the Elf Yourself app.  Seriously, you can make a video of your husband as an elf dancing…it’s hi-lari-ous.  (Don’t worry, honey, I didn’t make one of you…okay, yeah, I did….) #ElfYourself
