I have a confession to make. I suffer from Starving Baker Syndrome. You’d think that as a graphic designer, I’d always have the prettiest business cards, Christmas cards done and out early, and some awesome stuff on my walls. But I don’t.
My last business cards? Were a last minute thing before leaving on a week-long business trip and realizing that I didn’t have any current ones.
Our walls? Bare.
Christmas cards? Ha. Haha. Hahaha. Yeah right…
As I was looking at 2015 and thinking about things I wanted to get better at, keeping in touch with family and making our home, well, more homey, are pretty far up the list. But I have to be honest, as much as I LOVE designing, my own stuff is often put on the back burner for the sake of my clients’ projects and my new exciting venture.
And then I found Minted. Oh, my dear, lovely Minted.
Minted brings together independent artists and designers and allows you to purchase (and customize) awesome art and pieces all from one site. It’s absolutely amazing for designers like me. I’m hoping to carve out some time this year to join in on some of their design challenges. I’m insanely picky about paper and print quality for my designs and they far exceed my requirements!
In the meantime, they’ve saved my bacon on holiday cards. Read my Epic Holiday Photo post for why we’re sending out these adorable New Year’s cards instead of traditional Christmas cards. (Let’s pretend it was totally intentional…)
And we’ve finally ordered some amazing art for our soon-to-be gallery wall. (And for the record, I’ve ordered photo gifts from about every site available and these have the BEST quality frames!)
Oh, and I need some friends to hurry up and get married because, well, I’m in love with their new Save the Date line. I’m a sucker for anything foil pressed!
This post is sponsored by minted.com. I received a Minted credit for in exchange for my time and honest review. My love of their company relationship with designers and their artwork (and my desire to cover my walls in it) are 100% my own!
