If you ask my husband, he’ll probably tell you that I have a slight obsession with cookbooks. Sure, there are millions of recipes available online, but I just really love having the books with all their beautiful photos and the love that the authors pour into them. I will admit to having quite a few that I never or rarely touch. Well, that is not the case with this one!
You can buy your own copy here:
The Picky Palate Cookbook is one of the most used ones in my collection. It even has the sticky fingerprints to prove it! I’ve had the book for a few months now and keep saying “One more recipe and I’ll put the review up on the blog.” Yeah, I lost track of how many times I’ve said that. I’ve just enjoyed cooking from this book so much!
The first recipe that had to me made from this book when it arrived was the Oreo-Stuffed Chocolate Chip Cookies. Oh yeah, had to be done ASAP!
I may or may not have eaten most of the batch by myself.
For the next week, I cooked primarily from this cookbook. And most of the pictures to prove it seem to have disappeared during my transition to my new laptop in January. Drat! Some of our favorites were:
- Cheesy Pepperoni Pizza Quick Bread
- Spanish Rice
- Creamy Chicken-Spaghetti Bake
- Cheesy Chicken Pot Pies
- Creamy Chipotle Chicken Tortellini with White Beans and Cilantro
- Rigatoni Skillet Dinner
- Simple Shrimp Scampi
- Baked Tilapia Parmesan
- Chicken and Dumplings
So here is the fun part, Jenny hooked me up with a copy of her cookbook to give away!
